Molly: Reading a book with her mate Gerald. I'm not sure how he got his name. Molly loves to sit with a book. She is pretty careful most of the time. If she tears a page it's usually by accident. Her eyes are a bit red in this picture - she only napped for one hour today. We are in the dreaded two nap to one nap transition. It's not fun.

Naked Ladies: Or Belladonna Lilies, are the big, brashy, smelly (some say fragrant..) show-offs of the late summer garden. Just when you think "that's it 'til spring", these lovely ladies come out in all their glory. This photo was taken with a 35mm macro lens in the bright midday sunshine.
