I've wanted to join in with pictures of my daughter and other subjects, but I didn't want to link to other blogs and have total strangers looking at pictures of my daughter. So although my blog is public I'm hoping that the only people who visit will be friends and family.
But really this blog is just for me.
I have always loved photography and I'm hoping that this blog will give me the incentive to practise taking pictures, editing and designing layouts. To really be mindful of my surroundings and work out what inspires and interests me.
Other than a weekly portrait of Molly I would like to also post a landscape, a still life or a portrait of somebody else. Like I said this blog is really for me to explore and refine my own photography.
I will post on the Friday of each week starting on the 2nd January, 2015.

Molly: This Christmas was somewhat more exciting for her than last year. She received lots of gifts from her doting grandparents, aunties and uncles. But from Mum and Dad, just this plastic seaplane - which she loves by the way! I like to keep Christmas simple and leave the bigger, better gifts for birthdays.
